This series consists of the report of the Florida Survey Committee for National Defense. The 1940 report contains a survey of defense facilities and production including shipbuilding facilities, chemical plants, paper pulp mills, and naval stores. The survey was performed by the State Planning Board at the request of Governor Frederick P. Cone.
